Numbers don't look good

In the latest PCP exam, protein in my urine came out to be 3+ and traces of ketones. This is not good after I have so good in maintaining my diet, which resulted in excellent lab results in March and May last year. I think I became complacent and was not so on top of my nutrition.

I have been waking up around 4:30 every day. I hope it is not related to this.

Btw, I noticed that my A1c numbers have 5.7 for the last few times. Could it be possible that actually, I am diabetic, which is impacting my kidneys. For the next  6 months, I want to reduce my A1c number and see how it impacts the protein in the urine. To achieve this, I have made the decision to totally cut down cashews, nuts, and reduce all processed sugars.

I will report back on how things are in few months.  Btw, here is a good talk on prediabetes.
